General Information
Haslemere Alpha Taxis will provide clean, quality saloon style vehicles as standard but estates and MPV`s vehicles are also available upon request.
We can also provide multi-seated vehicles for parties of between 5 and 6 persons. All vehicles are local authority tested and are either Waverley Borough Council Hackney Carriage or Private Hire Vehicles, so you can be assured of the highest standards of safety and comfort at all times.
All our drivers are self-employed and Haslemere Alpha Taxi drivers are able to prove their experience and willingness to maintain a high standard. Customers can be assured that our drivers will be smartly dressed and trained to provide you with the highest standards of customer care.
Our drivers are licensed with a Waverley Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing which requires them to have held a UK driving license for a minimum of 2 year, to have taken an additional DSA Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Assessment Driving test, pass a Group 2 standard medical with own GP and Complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Further more, they need to have Passed a knowledge test about key roads and landmarks in the local area.

- our telephonist repeats your details to confirm booking
- The telephonist will give you an estimated time of arrival of your vehicle
- you then sit back and relax
- your taxi arrives to collect you
- This booking normally takes 2 minutes and the next you hear from us is when your taxi arrives.

- enter the time, date, pick up address, destination address and name and telephone number.
- our telephonist will call you and repeats your details to confirm booking
- The telephonist will give you an estimated time of arrival of your vehicle
- you then sit back and relax
- your taxi arrives to collect you
- This booking normally takes 2 minutes and the next you hear from us is when your taxi arrives.
Yes our app is under development. as soon as it is finished can be download via app store or google store.
Airport Information
Yes, this is why when you book for an airport collection, we ask for all your flight details. Our team will check and monitor your flight time to the best of their ability. However, we would ask that customers please do make us aware of any known delays (especially on short haul flights) to ensure we are able to send the car at the correct times.
We track flight landing times at all major airports. Our driver will then arrive inside the terminal after your flight has landed to ensure that waiting time and car parking is kept to a minimum. Our airport pick up charges are slightly higher as they include the first 45 minutes of waiting time but dose not include car parking charges.
If there is any waiting time and car parking time over the 45 minutes from the time your flight lands, you will be charged for any additional waiting time and car park fees accordingly. Waiting time and car parking charges, if incurred, will be charged at £20.00 per hour in 15 minute increments (£5.00) for all vehicle types. For credit/debit card customers, will be required to settle with their driver before the completion of their journey. For account holders, the waiting time and car parking fees will automatically be added to your bill.
We would ask that you allow as much time as possible for your journey to the airport.

- Heathrow Airport – Allow 1 1/4 hours
- Gatwick Airport – Allow 1 1/2 hours
- Luton Airport – Allow 1 3/4 hours
- London City Airport – Allow 2 hours
- Southampton Airport – Allow 1 1/4 hours
- Farnborough Airport – Allow 1 hour
Usually the driver would be waiting for you with an Alpha Taxi sign board but occasionally it happens that you could go through Customs and Passport Control quickly and get to the arrivals hall before the driver. Your driver could be encountering bad traffic conditions.
First, you would need to find a suitable visible place to wait where it would not be difficult to find, such as a shop or cafe. Call our office on 07908 55 66 22. We would then contact our driver to find out where he would be exactly, then get an estimated time when he would get to you. We would then inform you. In the meantime, you would wait and relax knowing that he would find you as soon as he could.
